Design Doing

After ‘Design Thinking’ comes ‘Design Doing’; creating the actual product or service with the right design qualities.

Concepts can be described at high level during a Design Thinking project but a service or a product becomes real when all details have been thought through. It is the designer’s responsibility to keep the defined design qualities in mind when designing for those details and to push for innovation.

In the below images you can see my packaging design ‘Sap op Stap’ which won the 3th Prize at the Hema Design Competition 2010.
